Ego Resolution
The self is a gift, not an illusion to be discarded. This life is not something to transcend or escape, it is your spiritual lesson.
You are here, and you are meant to be here.
Ego is part of this life. It is not your enemy, but a function: your survival instinct. You also have reason. And reason exists to guide you beyond mere survival. Sometimes instinct and reason align. Sometimes they don’t. A mature, civilized person learns to let reason lead.
But reason isn’t automatic. You must develop your reasons. You must challenge them. You must ensure they are logical, coherent, and attuned to reality.
Only then will your reasons be strong enough to override your impulses, not by force, but through clarity. This is what it means to live with intention, not reactivity. We grow by focusing deliberately on certain aspects of ourselves, not by dissolving the self, but by refining it. Not by abandoning ego, but by integrating it wisely.
The self is not something to dissolve.
It’s something to discern, to temper, and ultimately, to align. This is the path of spiritual participation. Not escape. Not denial. But integration.
